Ingredients:


¼ Cup Raspberries


Enough sugar to lightly coat raspberries


2 hard boiled egg yolks


1 cup almonds, blanched and skinned


1 cup chicken stock


1 cup light cream


2 Tablespoons honey

Instructions:


Step 1: Toss raspberries in sugar and lightly crush. Using your hands and letting your partner help can get your temperature rising right off the bat. Set aside.

Step 2: Put nuts and egg yolks in a blender or food processor and chop to fine. Try not to make jokes at this point.

Step 3: Slowly add the chicken stock, a spoonful at a time, until the ingredients make a fine paste.

Step 4:Continue blending on high speed as you slowly pour in the rest of the chicken stock and cream.

Step 5: Pour the contents into a saucepan and heat the soup very carefully on a low heat until it is hot and thick. Do not allow it to come to a boil or it will curdle.

Step 6: Stir in the honey and add to two bowls for serving.

Step 7: Top each bowl with the sugared, crushed raspberries and serve immediately.

Final Step: Spoon-feed each other as you relax on the couch, and let the taste take you away.

Green Bean Almondine

Ingredients:

1/2 Cup sliced almonds

2 Lbs. fresh green beans

1/3 Cup butter

1 Tablespoon lemon juice

1 Teaspoon salt

1/4 Teaspoon pepper

Instructions:

Step 1: Bake almonds in a shallow pan at 350صF. for 5 to 10 minutes or until toasted. Set aside.

Step 2: Split beans lengthwise. Cook beans in boiling water to cover in Dutch oven 4 minutes, or until tender then drain.

Step 3: Melt butter in Dutch oven.

Step 4: Add almonds, beans, lemon juice, salt and pepper, tossing to coat. Serve immediately.

Other Ideas: Try serving Marzipan (almond paste) in the shapes of fruits for a special after-dinner treat.  You can prepare in advance and have fun making candied boobs and penises with your partner, before you eat each other up 😉

Ingredients:

2/3 cups of water

2 cups granulated sugar

1/8 tsp cream of tartar

4 cups ground almonds (or almond meal)

2 egg whites

Instructions:

Step 1: Sprinkle powdered sugar over a marble slab, wooden cutting board, or large baking sheet.

Step 2: Fill the CLEAN sink or a large bowl with cold water.

Step 3: Place the sugar and water in a large saucepan and heat gently, stirring, until the sugar dissolves.

Step 4: Add the cream of tartar and turn up the heat. Bring to a boil and cover, for 3 minutes.

Step 5: Uncover and boil until the temperature reaches 240 degrees on a candy thermometer. Buy candy thermometer before you attempt this project.

Step 6: Place the bottom of the saucepan in the cold water you’ve prepared, stirring constantly until it becomes thick and creamy.

Step 7: Stir in the ground almonds and the egg whites, place back over low heat and stir for 2 minutes more until thick.

Steph 8: Spoon the marzipan onto your work surface, and turn it with a metal spatula until it cools down enough to touch by hand.

Step 9: Coat your hands in powdered sugar and knead the marzipan until it is smooth and pliant.

Step 10: Your marzipan can now be used immediately or stored by wrapping it in plastic wrap and keeping it in an airtight container.
